A Fallen Leaf

A light leaf spots an anxious face

Falling dearly near an empty space

Igniting dreams and eager frustrations

Leaving mysteries in desperation

Touch

And a smile was drawn

Hush

And a sweet tune was dwelled on

An artful shadow drove over like a gray cloud in winter

Then a hand held it tightly and whispered

"I am going to keep you regardless the bitter and the better"

Running in the field of fear

Gushing tear after tear

Softer than silence, stiller than still air

Floating up and down like snowfall, tireless, fair

Too tight to bare

It cracked and the face was in despair

Fragile and the yellowing leaves were held in pieces

A vibrant sound echoed and releases

"In every change, in every falling leaf, there is some pain, some beauty to embrace

No trace to efface

I shall be scattered but not defeated

Cause life starts all over again to arrest the dreamer, wanderer, and heartbroken on their aimless ways no matter what the season."
